Middle School Addition

Project

A 36,000 SF addition at the Middle School that includes a Gym with Indoor Running Track, Locker Room, Student Commons Area and General Classrooms.

M/E Role

Complete HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical design. Systems included: Central VAV air handling units, Yankee gutter roof drains, power distribution and energy efficient lighting.

Challenges

Designing systems that fit the district's needs and desires while maintaining a fixed construction budget, during a time when construction costs were volatile.
