Complete interior renovation of the historic 55,000 SF Ambrose Swasey Library.

M/E Role

HVAC work includes environmental control to tight temperature and humidity tolerances for six-story archival stack area.  Infrastructure design includes a new steam boiler and chilled water plant, electric service, telephone and data network and site lighting for the entire Divinity School Campus.

Challenges

Infrastructure upgrades and complex renovations to an existing historical structure in order to provide necessary environmental systems for the Divinity School’s book collections.
