Woodchip gasifier boiler plant systems.
M/E Engineering, P.C. provided HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical design services for the Ausable Junior/Senior High School. The HVAC system consisted of one 10 MMBTU woodchip gasifier and boiler plant system, six new air handling units, individual VAV's in the classrooms and variable speed drives all of which are controlled by a direct digital system. A 600KW dual function generator powers the entire facility.
M/E Engineering, P.C. provided HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical design services for the Keeseville Elementary School and Bus Garage. The HVAC system consisted of one 6 MMBTU woodchip gasifier and boiler plant system, converting the existing steam boilers to hot water boilers, a new air handling unit and unit ventilators in the classroom addition.
M/E Engineering performed CFD wind wake analysis to assure that the woodchip boiler emissions, stack heights and boiler plan locations at Ausable Junior/Senior High School and Keeseville Elementary School met the requirements of the Adirondack Park Agency (APA).
