University of Rochester - Health Services Building
The University Health Service Building is a three story building of 28,000 SF with provisions for two additional floors. It offers both primary medical care and mental health services to students on Campus and consolidates programs that were formerly in disparate locations, improving efficiency and synergy.
M/E Engineering was responsible for the complete HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design. The systems were designed to support the addition of two floors. Additionally, the building was designed to meet LEED standards for sustainable design although the Owner elected not to submit to the U.S. Green Building Council.
