Buffalo & Erie County Public Library - Renovation & Expansion

Project Highlights

Modifications were made to an existing central library in downtown Buffalo including Circulation, Lobby, Staff Workroom, Cafe; and Toilet Room spaces. Systems which were modified included all HVAC Distribution and Control Systems, Lighting Systems, Power and Data Systems and all required service connections to a newly created Cafe; inside the Library.

Challenges

The Library remained open during the entire renovation; therefore the project required considerable phasing so that services were not interrupted during construction.
