The Labatt Brew House is a complete renovation of a historic building located in the Cobblestone District, adjacent to KeyBank Center, in Buffalo, NY. This 4-story mixed-use facility is home to a brewery, restaurant, commercial office spaces, studios, and high-end residential lofts. The commercial office spaces are home to FIFCO, Inc, National American Brewery and PSE Corporate offices and opened in the Fall of 2018.
A vital part of this project’s goal was to provide a modern energy-efficient building while maintaining the historical aspects of the building, including the exposed wood beams & floors and the exposed brick walls. The design and construction teams were able to provide a landmark facility that will be a part of Buffalo for many years.
M/E Engineering completed the design and Construction Administration of the HVAC, power, lighting, IT, fire alarm, fire protection and plumbing systems for this historic building renovation.
