Rivers Casino & Resort is one of Schenectady’s premier entertainment destinations, offering an elevated experience along the Mohawk River. The gaming facility features 51,000 SF of gaming space, 34,475 SF of food and beverage areas, support spaces, and a four-story, 175-room hotel. Unique design elements include a raised gaming floor to allow flexible layouts, generator backup for slots, table games, and select restaurants, and energy-efficient HVAC systems throughout the property.
M/E provided full HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical engineering design services for the casino and hotel, including back-of-house areas, event spaces, dining and kitchen facilities, hotel rooms, and parking. The design ensured all building systems supported the resort’s operational reliability, comfort, and functionality for guests and staff.
