Southland Casino & Raceway unveiled a major expansion to include multiple new dining venues, and a striking 20 story, 300 room hotel tower crowned with 12 penthouse suites in addition to a 5 story parking garage with 1,250 spaces and upgraded meeting space, creating a full-scale resort experience.
The new casino features 2,400 slot machines, 50 live table games, a Player’s Lounge, high-limit area, and multiple bars and restaurants, including a steakhouse, buffet, food hall, and coffee shop.
Despite the challenges of a COVID-era restart, our team delivered a state-of-the-art facility that met budget, honored the architectural vision, and incorporated updated health and safety measures to protect guests. M/E provided HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, power, lighting, and telecommunications design for the project, working closely with contractors from design development through construction.
