Resorts World Casinos has long been recognized for creating premier destinations across the globe and brought a new level of entertainment and hospitality to the Catskills region with the development of its integrated resort. The property features a 100,000 sq. ft. gaming floor with more than 140 live table games, 1,600 slot machines, a poker room, private gaming salons, and a player’s lounge. Complementing the gaming experience, the new 18-story hotel offers 332 suites, twelve (12) dining venues, a 28,400 sq. ft. multipurpose event center, a full-service spa, indoor pool, and fitness facilities.
HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical engineering design services were provided for the resort’s new construction, including the central utility plant, back-of-house areas, event spaces, dining and kitchen facilities, administration offices, indoor pool, laundry, and parking garage.
Full commissioning services were performed to ensure the facility met all operational, sustainability, and LEED requirements. This included developing commissioning specifications, plans, checklists, and test procedures, as well as overseeing systems performance testing, digital control systems operation, and final reporting. These efforts contributed to the property achieving certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
