We are excited to announce that M/E Engineering has joined Salas O’Brien, effective October 2025. Our offices will remain under the same leadership, and our clients can continue to expect the same team and level of service. As M/E and Salas O’Brien work together, we believe clients will benefit from our combined expertise and geographic reach.
M/E Engineering was retained by the State University Construction Fund as the lead professional for this project. It involved a complete renovation of the graduate library 40,000 SF third floor and renovations to the Penthouse with central MEP equipment replacements that serve the multi-building library complex. The renovations were completed while maintaining services to an occupied and operational library throughout the construction period.
The renovated library includes the addition of high-density shelving systems to provide additional student study and collaboration spaces to support a modern library environment. Additional upgrades include roof replacements, elevator modernization and extension to the penthouse level, toilet room upgrades and the addition of a digital scholarship center.
