After 50 years, St. John Fisher University undertook a multimillion-dollar modernization of their historic Lavery Library, marking the largest capital improvement project in the university’s history. Renovations transformed the library into a technology-rich, collaborative, and flexible learning environment, featuring updated classrooms, study areas, and expanded seating.
Our M/E team provided design services for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lighting, power, and commissioning for the transformation of the campus’s iconic space. Specialty systems were incorporated for temperature and humidity control, fire suppression, and a critical archive room. All new MEP/FP systems were also integrated into an underground utility tunnel, accommodating a site electrical transformer, gas house, and remote condensing unit, enhancing site functionality and campus flow.
