Buffalo City Mission

City of Buffalo

The new four-story multi-use facility was built to support Buffalo’s homeless community by providing shelter, meals, counseling, and compassionate care. The building includes administrative offices, a medical clinic, chapel, transitional housing, and various support spaces. Constructed on the site of the former Mission, the new facility replaced outdated structures that were demolished upon completion.

The building systems were designed to meet the unique needs of each space with energy efficiency in mind. HVAC design features a heat pump distribution system connected to a centralized chiller, with integrated plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and telecommunications systems tailored to support both residential and clinical functions.
