The new laboratory and research building for the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University houses is a broad mix of social, physical and life sciences, technology and design research focused on bettering the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities.

M/E provided full MEP/FP design services for both the research building and the adjoining parking garage, including double-tunnel AHU and exhaust systems, direct digital control systems, emergency generators, complete fire protection systems, and comprehensive plumbing infrastructure. The laboratories feature wet labs for nutritional and fiber sciences, and dry labs for human factors, apparel studies, and drawing/CAD studios.
