Waygate Technologies, a global leader in non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions and part of Baker Hughes’ Industrial & Energy Technology (IET) segment, renovated and expanded its Cincinnati facility to create a 35,000 SF, state-of-the-art Customer Solutions Center. The facility supports advanced inspection, research, and customer collaboration for the aviation, automotive, electronics, and oil & gas industries.
M/E Engineering provided MEP/FP design and coordination to support the installation of cutting-edge inspection technologies, including industrial X-ray, CT, ultrasonic, and remote visual inspection systems. Our scope included HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems, incorporating controlled environments and reliable power distribution to support the high-precision testing operations. A second phase added an expansion to house a first-of-its-kind 9 MeV linear accelerator CT scanner, further advancing the facility’s high-energy imaging capabilities.
