We are excited to announce that M/E Engineering has joined Salas O’Brien, effective October 2025. Our offices will remain under the same leadership, and our clients can continue to expect the same team and level of service. The project included 26,000 SF of renovated space and 56,000 SF of new construction, requiring MEP systems designed to accommodate a wide range of occupancies. After evaluating multiple options, a high-efficiency Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system was selected for its flexibility and energy performance, serving all office and classroom areas.
Laboratory spaces are supported by 100% outside air heat recovery units, while chilled water is supplied by modular gas-fired absorption chillers. Electrical design encompassed new lighting, power distribution, and emergency power systems to ensure reliability and code compliance throughout the facility.
