We are excited to announce that M/E Engineering has joined Salas O’Brien, effective October 2025. Our offices will remain under the same leadership, and our clients can continue to expect the same team and level of service. M/E Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design for the phased renovation of the Emergency Department at the Wagner Building. The project included a new radiology suite, trauma, bariatric, and standard treatment bays, isolation rooms, psychiatric and secure holding areas, and a relocated nurses’ station.
Systems were reconfigured to support the updated floor plan, including upgraded isolation room exhaust, improved air changes and pressurization, segregated electrical systems, updated medical gas distribution, domestic water, sanitary waste, and fire protection coverage. The phased design allowed the Emergency Department to remain fully operational during the year-long construction while modernizing systems to meet current codes and operational requirements.
