Spectrum News Office Building

Charter Communications

Spectrum News (formerly Time Warner Cable) Buffalo office is a regional cable news provider delivering 24-hour coverage of local news, politics, features, and weather to the Buffalo and Western New York region, seven days a week. Relocating to the Compass East Building (formerly Sheehan Memorial Hospital), the project scope included the renovation of the 4th and 5th floors to accommodate two television studios, associated support spaces, administrative offices, and a dedicated server room.

Mechanical and electrical systems were designed to meet the operational demands of a continuous broadcast environment. In addition to new HVAC systems, critical areas including the studios, server room, and support spaces were equipped with uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems to ensure continuous operation during power disruptions.
