The oldest farm in the Mohawk Valley, dating back to 1705, Mabee Farm Historic Site offers visitors educational and recreational experiences that celebrate the region’s heritage. The site includes the Franchere Education Center, which hosts exhibitions, workshops, school programs, and conference space, alongside extensive historical collections.
M/E Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services for the new 13,000 SF Educational Center. The facility includes a community room, display galleries, classrooms, meeting spaces, and climate-controlled artifact storage. The design carefully integrated modern building systems while preserving the historic character and setting of the farm.
