We are excited to announce that M/E Engineering has joined Salas O’Brien, effective October 2025. Our offices will remain under the same leadership, and our clients can continue to expect the same team and level of service. Several vacant structures, including homes and commercial buildings were demolished to make way for the recently constructed three-story Veddersburg Apartments property on Main Street, Amsterdam, NY. The affordable housing complex includes 63 apartment units with on-site supportive services.
The development was designed according to the regulations of the NYSERDA Low Rise New Construction program and LEED version 4, BD+C Homes. M/E provided HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and electrical engineering design and construction administrative services for this project.
