Medina Central School District
Capital Project 2017-2018
As a result of the District’s 2015 Building Condition Survey and the identified needs, Medina Central School District embarked on a District-Wide Upgrade and Improvement Project. M/E Engineering provided exclusive MEP design services to the Architect of this substantial project.
This project required extensive coordination and temporary provisions to allow for the replacement of building systems while maintaining continuous occupancy of the buildings by the District.
Medina Central School District performed campus-wide construction including replacement of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems in all buildings. Building-Wide air conditioning systems in all school buildings and boiler replacement at the High School and Middle School were completed. Work scope also included complete replacement of building fire alarm systems, new electrical services and replacement/upgrade of sports field lighting. In addition, a new 4,000 SF band storage building was constructed with new lighting, HVAC and plumbing systems.
