Syracuse University - Carmelo Anthony Basketball Practice Facility
Construction of a world class/state-of-the-art basketball practice facility for Syracuse University's NCAA Division 1 Men's and Women's basketball programs to attract the best students and staff to assure continuing excellence of the university's basketball programs. The facility includes two (2) full practice courts, locker and training facilities for both men and women, as well as the coaching department's office space. In keeping with Syracuse University's goals of reducing the campus carbon footprint the project is registered with United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and is being designed and constructed to be a LEED certified building.
Mechanical and electrical engineering design services from initial concept through construction for a new 56,000 square foot Basketball Practice Facility for Syracuse University's NCAA Division 1 Men's and Women's Basketball Program. The building's energy efficient HVAC system, in addition to typical exhaust air energy recovery, incorporates some unique energy efficient strategies such as a variable volume air system with an occupancy responsive dedicated outdoor air system and a programmable variable flow exhaust system.
